A veteran of the textbook depository industry and a Tennessee Book Company associate since 1974, Louise performs several “mission-critical” tasks, including serving as the company’s liaison with the Tennessee Department of Education’s Office of Textbook Services. In this capacity, Louise assists the DOE in the verification of publishers’ official state bids and manages the subsequent compilation and production of the Tennessee Official List of Textbooks (i.e., the “state textbook catalog”).

Her other duties include working with publishers to resolve packaging, labeling, and other compliance-related issues; assisting senior management in purchasing and inventory management; assuring the timely issuance of related customer and vendor communications; and coordinating with other staff in the preparation and production of the company’s promotional and marketing literature.

Louise is a graduate of Metro Nashville public schools, and attended both Tennessee State University and Nashville State Technical Institute. She is the mother of one son and also a grandmother.
